Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Deluxe You Aesthetics ("Deluxe You", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information when you visit our website, shop with us online, contact us, or engage our clinic services in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which enables us to sell our products and services to you. By using our website or providing your information to us, you agree to the handling of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

The information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address.
  • Order and payment information — the products you view, add to cart or purchase, your order history, and payment confirmation details. Card payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your login details and preferences.
  • Communications — the information you include when you contact us by email, our website forms, or WhatsApp.
  • Usage and device information — your IP address, browser and device type, and how you interact with our website, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies and analytics" below).

Sensitive and health information

As a registered nurse–led aesthetics clinic, we may collect health and other sensitive information from you when you book or attend a consultation or treatment — for example, your skin concerns, medical history and treatment records. We only collect sensitive information with your consent and where it is reasonably necessary to assess your suitability for, and safely provide, our services. Sensitive information is given a higher level of protection and is never used for marketing without your express consent. Bookings and clinical records may be managed through our booking and practice-management systems separately from the online store.

How we collect your information

We collect personal information: directly from you (when you shop, create an account, contact us, subscribe to our list, or attend the clinic); automatically through your use of our website (via cookies and analytics); and from our service providers, such as Shopify and our payment and shipping partners, who collect or process information on our behalf.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • process and fulfil your orders, take payment, arrange delivery and handle returns;
  • create and manage your account and remember your preferences;
  • provide customer support and respond to your enquiries, including via WhatsApp;
  • send you marketing and promotional communications where you have opted in, and allow you to opt out at any time;
  • operate, analyse and improve our website and services, including through analytics;
  • protect against fraud and keep our website and your account secure; and
  • meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart and session working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated, statistical information about website usage (such as pages visited and general location); this data is processed by Google. Our store platform, Shopify, also collects analytics information to provide and secure the Services.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the website function.

How we disclose your information

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • Shopify, which hosts our online store and processes information to provide the Services;
  • payment providers who process your payment securely;
  • shipping and fulfilment partners to deliver your order;
  • marketing and communication providers (such as our email and messaging platforms) where you have opted in;
  • professional advisers, or law enforcement and government agencies, where required or authorised by law; and
  • a purchaser or successor in the event of a sale, merger or reorganisation of our business.

We do not sell your personal information.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers, including Shopify and Google, may store or process your information on servers located outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Marketing and your choices

If you have opted in, we may send you news, offers and product information by email or message. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us, and we will stop sending you marketing communications. We may still send you non-marketing messages about your orders or account.

Data security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including through our use of a secure, PCI-compliant store platform. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our products and services, comply with our legal obligations (including health-records and taxation requirements), resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • request that we correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete; and
  • make a complaint if you believe we have mishandled your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
